I've Been Banned or Muted
If you’ve been banned or muted on the WoA server or platforms, this guide will explain why, whether you can appeal, and how to do so.

🚫 Why Have I Been Banned or Muted?
Our staff team enforces the rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. Punishments, such as mutes or bans, may be issued based on:
Player reports.
Direct observation by staff.
Ban Information
Effect: If you’ve been banned, you won’t be able to join the server.
Notification: When attempting to join, you’ll see the ban reason and duration displayed.
Mute Information
Effect: If muted, you won’t be able to send messages in chat.
Notification: When attempting to chat, you’ll see the mute reason and duration displayed.
Important Note on Communication Suspensions
If others cannot see your messages but you don’t receive a mute notification, this is likely a Communication Suspension issued by Mojang/Xbox.

❓ Can I Appeal My Punishment?
You can appeal the following punishments:
Bans: If issued by WoA and you believe they are incorrect.
Mutes: If issued by WoA and you believe they are incorrect.
Inappropriate Skins or Gamertags: If the punishment was for an inappropriate skin or Gamertag, and you’ve updated them to meet guidelines.
You cannot appeal the following punishments:
Valid punishments issued by WoA.
Punishments that have already expired.
Communication Suspensions issued by Mojang/Xbox. Learn more about these here.

📝 How Do I Appeal?
To appeal a punishment, please contact our support team by:

Required Information for Appeals
Your In-Game Username / Gamertag.
Reason for Punishment: Include the reason displayed when you were banned or muted.
Why You Dispute the Punishment: Explain why you believe the punishment is unfair.
Important Notes About Appeals
Appeals will only be reviewed if submitted by the punished player or their legal parent/guardian.
We cannot share details about another player's punishment. If your friend was banned, it’s up to them to share that information.
Valid punishments will not be undone.
💬 Can I Appeal a Discord Punishment?
If you’ve been banned or muted on the WoA Discord server, you can submit an appeal by contacting our support team via:

Required Information for Discord Appeals
Your Discord Username.
Your Discord User ID: (an 18-19 digit number). Learn how to find your User ID here.
Reason for Punishment (if known).
