You can be standing in the world in under a minute: launch Hytale, point it at our server, and step into Orbis. What is WoA?

WoA is a persistent Hytale world designed for the long haul. Everything happens inside Orbis, a single connected land split into different kinds of region — each with its own rules, its own dangers, and its own opportunities. Settle down and build a home, master trades and skills, band together in a peaceful community, or march to war along a contested frontier. It is your story to write.

WoA is live for Hytale's Early Access, and the world keeps expanding. Some experiences — like seasonal war on the borderlands — arrive in waves, so there is always something new to come back for.

Central District

The protected heart of Orbis. Fully safe PvE — claim a personal plot, build a home, run a shop, and grow a settlement with friends.

Wild Regions

Untamed PvE lands beyond the city. Everyone explores and gathers freely, while guilds raise protected outposts and frontier settlements.

War Territories

Contested borderlands with no land claims at all. Factions clash here for control during seasonal War Seasons — high risk, high reward.

Future Regions

New lands and later seasons, still on the horizon. The map of Orbis is far from finished.

Your first hour in Orbis

Once you are in and linked, here is where to point yourself. None of it is mandatory — but doing a little of each is the quickest way to feel at home.

  • Explore the Central District — it is fully safe PvE. Wander, meet people, and get a feel for the city.
  • Claim a plot and build a home — in the Central District you can claim personal land, build, and start trading.
  • Start leveling your Skills — gather, craft, fight, and build to climb 20 skills across four categories.
  • Find your people — join a guild for a permanent community, and keep an eye on factions for seasonal war.
  • Vote for the server — a quick, free way to support WoA and help new players find us.
  • Join the Discord — the heart of the community, for help, news, events, and finding a group.

Skills — your path to mastery

Almost everything you do in Orbis builds a skill. There are 20 skills spread across four categories — Combat, Gathering, Crafting, and Building — and each one climbs all the way to level 100. Your overall progress is your Total Level, and the top players appear on the public Leaderboard. Just play the way you enjoy, and your skills grow with you.

Guilds and factions — better together

Guilds are permanent, peaceful communities — your long-term home for building, trading, and adventuring side by side. Out in the Wild Regions, guilds raise protected outposts and frontier settlements, while in the Central District a guild makes its home through its members' personal plots. Factions are seasonal war orders built for the War Territories, where they fight for control during War Seasons. The two never conflict: you can settle into a guild and still answer the call of a faction when the war drums sound.

War Seasons are still gearing up — the world is in Season 0, preparing. Factions can already form, recruit, and ready themselves, so you can be battle-ready the moment the first season opens.
