Levels, Ratings, Reliability

Progression in the browser economy stands on three DIFFERENT scales, and no single number sums them up on purpose: rich, skilled and dependable are three different things.

Level

Personal mastery. It grows from completed economic acts and NEVER falls. It belongs to the player, not to a company — selling the business does not sell the hands.

Rating

Comparison with others, by industry and by season. The monthly board starts from zero for everyone — a newcomer can win a month without catching up to a veteran. A season ends with a full reset and an archive in the Chronicle.

Reliability

A worker's reputation. The only one of the three that CAN fall — broken contracts leave marks.

Season resets touch the RATING only. Levels never fall, never expire and never reset — including any retuning of the curve.
